Our CNC Repair Process

Developed over our decades of experience, our CNC repair process at K+S is intentionally designed to ensure the highest level of precision and reliability.

Step 1

Defect Evaluation

Our certified technicians perform a complete CNC system functionality check, identifying control, motion, and accuracy issues, and a component-level CNC inspection focusing on drive units, controllers, and power supplies. We use specialized cleaning and diagnostic procedures to address issues from circuity to mechanical components.

Step 2

Failure Analysis Report

When our evaluation is completed, we’ll send you a comprehensive Failure Analysis Report (FAR) detailing what our technicians found, what our recommendations are for your CNC system, a detailed cost breakdown, and a timeline estimate.

Step 3

Repair

Damaged components are replaced with OEM parts to ensure correct performance specifications, and any required machining is performed to strict tolerances.

Step 4

Testing

Repaired systems undergo comprehensive testing for operational accuracy. Testing includes verifying correct axis positioning, checking bearing preload and orientation, sensor recalibration, and ensuring geometric accuracy.

Step 5

Post-Repair Report

Your repaired components are returned to you, along with an extensive report (added at no cost to you) that details what was replaced, lists results from our operational testing, and provides money-saving insights for CNC operation and maintenance.
