Helping Industrial Companies Maintain Precision

Robot Wrist Repair

Save money by reconditioning rather than replacing robot wrists. A reconditioned robot wrist maximizes robotic efficiency and dexterity and costs significantly less than a direct OEM replacement. K+S Services has experience repairing both new and obsolete robot wrists, and has over 40 robotic manipulators and controllers in-house for full system testing. A partnership with K+S Services means faster turnaround, better quality and performance, and cost-efficient solutions.

Our Reconditioning Process

Reconditioning, rather than functional repairs, ensures your robotic wrist assembly performs to OEM specifications. We don’t just fix cosmetic wear and replace damaged components; we test the complete assembly in a robotic cell to ensure it will perform optimally in your environment.

Step 1

Evaluation

Our robotics repair team disassembles the robotic wrist, inspecting and cleaning joints, gears, and actuation mechanisms. Our team specifically looks for issues in wrist articulation, rotation, and grip strength.

Step 2

Analysis Report

We’ll send you a report highlighting what we found during our initial evaluation, which components need to be replaced or repaired, and cost and timeline estimates.

Step 3

Repair

Our factory-certified technicians replace damaged components with direct OEM or OEM-equivalent components. We can address complex issues with both mechanical and electronic components.

Step 4

Diagnostics

Reconditioned wrist assembles undergo precision testing for range of motion. We have over 40 robotic diagnostic systems in-house to facilitate functional and closed-loop testing, ensuring the reconditioned assembly functions to OEM specifications.

Step 5

Post-Repair

K+S Services ships the reconditioned assembly along with a detailed report highlighting testing results, replaced components, and maintenance recommendations.
