K+S reconditions vacuum pumps and blowers of any size, from most major brands, including BOC Edwards, Kinney, Leybold, Siemens, and Varian. Our Reconditioning Process

K+S Services specializes in reconditioning. Every serviced component leaving our facility is thoroughly tested and inspected to ensure functionality, comply with OEM requirements, and to verify correct performance in your intended environment. Our reconditioning process consists of five primary steps, each of which is recorded for data transparency in our ISO 9001:2015-compliant quality management system.

Step 1

Evaluation

K+S Services provides free, no-obligation evaluations. During our initial assessment, we carefully disassemble and inspect, photograph, and document each component. Parts are cleaned before the pump or blower is reassembled.

Step 2

Analysis Report

You’ll receive a detailed report, quote, and estimated repair timeline. In the report, we’ll provide a summary of what our technicians found during the initial assessment and our recommendations for which components need to be replaced or remanufactured.

Step 3

Repair

We assign the repair project to one of our technicians. Repair progress is tracked within our quality management system and available for review in our easily accessible Customer Portal.

Step 4

Diagnostics

Every reconditioned pump and blower is thoroughly tested using factory-approved equipment that’s been calibrated to ANSI standards. Some of the equipment used during diagnostics includes our Varian 959 Porta-Test Leak Detector, SenTorr and 524 Cold Cathode Ionization gauges, and the ConvecTorr gauge for testing 1 x 10-3 Torr to atmosphere.

Step 5

Post-Repair

You’ll receive your newly reconditioned vacuum pump or blower, along with maintenance recommendations, installation instructions, results from our diagnostic testing, and a detailed breakdown of which components were replaced and/or remanufactured.
