Our Story

Founded in 1982 in Ypsilanti, MI, K+S Services has been at the forefront of industrial repair, specializing in electronic and motor repairs for a wide range of industries. With a mission to provide quality repairs, effective solutions, and efficient service, we have expanded globally, establishing operations in Mexico and Europe by 1995. Over the years, we've made several key acquisitions with the goal of continuously growing our capabilities to meet evolving market demands. In 1996, we added hydraulic and mechanical repair capabilities, and by 2003, we acquired Beech Services, strengthening our servo motor repair and rewind expertise. Additional acquisitions, including Kennedy Repair Services in 2005 and Superior Spindle in 2008, broadened our offerings to include robotic weld gun repairs and machine tool spindle remanufacturing. In 2016, we added DC torque tool and tool management capabilities with the acquisition of Encore Systems. In 2021, we joined forces with SunSource, further strengthening our position in the market.

Today, with 13 North American locations and over 850 manufacturers supported, K+S Services remains committed to continuous quality improvement. We pride ourselves on restoring equipment to meet or exceed OEM specifications, providing detailed repair reports, and delivering a product we can be proud to stand behind.
