What Our Process Looks Like

We want to prove to you why industrial facilities continue to trust K+S Services and that’s why we offer evaluations and comprehensive Failure Analysis Reports that outline our findings and recommended repairs at *no additional cost.* As a specialty industrial repair facility, our technicians are capable of repairing directional control, flow control, pressure control, solenoid-operated, pilot-operated, servo-proportional valves. When you trust K+S Services with your repair project, you can expect the following:

Step 1

Evaluation:

Our factory-certified technicians disassemble your valve and inspect individual components for signs of wear or damage. Damaged components are photographed and documented.

Step 2

Analysis Report:

We compile a Failure Analysis Report that outlines what we found during our free evaluation, including the probable cause of failure, our recommended solutions, and a cost and timeline estimate.

Step 3

Repair:

Damaged components are replaced with OEM or OEM-equivalent spares. We keep over $5 million worth of spare parts on hand to ensure faster lead times. Every component is ultrasonically cleaned, new seals and a pilot filter (if applicable) are installed, and on-board electronics are verified and repaired if needed.

Step 4

Diagnostics:

K+S Services uses dedicated test stands to verify manufacturer specifications. Reconditioned valves are pressurized and computer-tested under load, assessing command signal, flow output, feedback signal, pressure, and internal leakage. Linear Variable Differential Transformer is also tested.

Step 5

Post-Repair:

We’ll ship your reconditioned valve along with a copy of our diagnostic testing, a 12-month in-service warranty, installation instructions, a report of which components were replaced, and maintenance recommendations.
