Step 1

Evaluation

Our factory-trained technicians disassemble and clean your teach pendant system, and evaluate each component for signs of damage. Our team looks for cracked or broken housings, display issues, ESD damage, cold joints, and more.

Step 2

Analysis Report

When we’ve completed our evaluation, we’ll send an online Failure Analysis Report, detailing what we found during our evaluation, what our team recommends, a cost estimate, and a timeline. Our standard timeline is 7 to 10 days; expedited timelines are possible, depending on part availability.

Step 3

Repair

When you accept our quote, our technicians begin our comprehensive repair process. We replace all failing or near-failing components, including cases, touch screens, and dead man switches with direct OEM replacements.

Step 4

Diagnostics

K+S has over 50 robotic manipulators and controller diagnostic systems for functional and closed-loop testing. Our systems support all robotic components, including CPU, teach pendants, communication boards, gear boxes, wrist assemblies, and servo motors.

Step 5

Post-Repair

Your newly repaired teach pendant is returned to you, along with a comprehensive report highlighting which components were replaced, performance and maintenance recommendations to extend the lifespan of your reconditioned system, and performance/operational testing results.
