A Look Into Our Process

K+S Services supports the Industrial, Commercial, and Military industries through reliable servo motor repair services. All incoming units are thoroughly inspected, cleaned, diagnosed, and repaired by skilled, OEM-trained technicians, and then tested in custom-made stands to ensure they meet or exceed OEM performance specifications. All parts of our repair process are maintained and recorded in our ISO 9001:2015-compliant quality management system. A breakdown of our reconditioning process includes:

Step 1

Evaluation:

Our factory-trained technicians perform a run-in test to record feedback alignment data, then carefully disassemble your servo motor, inspecting each critical component for signs of wear or damage, and documenting them into our repair management system.

Step 2

Analysis Report:

You’ll receive a detailed report that includes results from the initial run-in test, what damage was found during the assessment, our recommended repair solutions, and cost and timeline estimates.

Step 3

Repair:

We assign the repair project to one of our skilled technicians. Any damaged components are replaced with direct OEM spares or remanufactured to OEM specifications. You can track repair progress through our Customer Portal.

Step 4

Diagnostics:

Our technicians use computer-assisted programs, paired with our custom test stands, including the Fractional HP Servo Motor Load Stand and Mitchell TI-3000 AC Servo Run System, to properly test, qualify, and verify each component’s operation under load in a closed-loop system.

Step 5

Post-Repair:

Your reconditioned servo motor is shipped back to you, along with a list of which components were replaced or remanufactured, a printed record of your motor’s performance based on our load tests, installation steps, and maintenance recommendations.
