As the interface between the operator and the robot, teach pendants are often the most used component in a robotics system, and are therefore one of the most common failures. Pendants get dropped, buttons wear out, cables become frayed and the screen displays dim over.
K+S Services specializes in repairing a wide variety of Yaskawa Motoman teach pendants including older ERC, XRC and MRC models and newer models including the NX and DX series.
While many companies repairing teach pendants will simply clean cases, glue cracks and only replace faulty components, K+S performs a complete refurbishment to ensure it will stand up to the rigors of operation and human handling.
During this refurbishment process, we perform the following:
- Replacement of front and rear cases as needed
- Replacement of touch screen
- Replacement of LCD
- Replacement of e-stop switches
- Replacement of dead-man switches
- Replacement of hand straps
- Replacement of cables and connectors
- Replacement of overlay
- Repair or replacement of control board as required
After refurbishment is complete, your teach pendant will undergo full testing in an actual robot system to verify functionality at OEM standards. All K+S refurbished teach pendants include our 12 month in-service warranty.
