Fractional Hp Servo Motor Load Stand
K+S Services has designed and manufactured a load test stand for fractional and sub-fractional horsepower AC & DC servo motors. This system is comprised of a Reliance GV-3000 AC inverter drive controlling a 1.0 Hp Reliance “Black Max” inverter duty motor. The GV3000 drive is run in “constant torque” mode in order to keep the load torque perfectly linear. The load transducer is a precision Lebow 1602-1K unit that is capable of testing up to 1000 oz/in full scale. The motor under test is secured to a load table plate with ultra fine height adjustment and a positive locking system. All motors qualifying to be tested on this system are initially loaded to maximum OEM torque specifications and then to stall to ensure quality repairs.
Mitchell TI-3000 AC Servo Run System
The K+S Services has the ability to test Mitchell TI3000 AC servo run system. It is used to run test various AC servo motors whose OEM drive controllers have proprietary control interfaces. With the TI-3000 system, any AC servomotor utilizing a standard encoder, resolver or hall effect feedback systems can be easily dynamically tested. There are also many “complex” or “serial” type feedback servo motors that can be tested on this system as well. The servo motors under analysis can even be load tested to ensure a quality repair every time.
